Apex Cards respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you order or create an account
- Order history and trade-in details
- Basic technical data (such as browser type and pages visited) needed to run the site securely
Why we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders and trade-ins
- To send order and account emails
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- To send occasional news only if you opt in
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to complete your order: our payment provider (Yoco), the courier you choose (PUDO, Paxi or The Courier Guy) and our hosting provider (xneelo, South Africa). We never sell your information. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, currently five years. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@apexcards.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
